“I am the Team Captain and swimming faster than a year earlier…”
I started CrossFit because I was in a rut with my swimming career. I had hit the plateau where I wasn’t getting any worse, but wasn’t getting any faster either. So I cut my swim training back and took up CrossFit. Fast forward six months, after incorporating CrossFit, I am the Team Captain and swimming faster than a year earlier, when I had been swimming twice as much. I had the swim technique pretty much dialed in, but CrossFit gave me the strength I needed to be a better athlete.
Update: Jackson is now a Student at Auburn University and Interning with a corporation in Mobile, Al.
